JJnTJ says: "Attempts to harness the terrifying energy in the only known mutant Leporidae-Selachimorphanasal (colloq. "Sharknose Bunnies") specimen have been fruitless. Though his habitat is known, his habits are impossible to predict. Apparently lacking any need for sleep, he forages far and wide at all hours and in all seasons with no recognizable pattern. "Sharknose Bunnies" is nearly impossible to catch in the woods, possessing tremendous agility and a preternatural ability to navigate. He practices a bizarre "FTF" ritual frequently, often in groups. Though he is unspeakably ancient, he possesses remarkable adeptness with technology. If you spot "Sharknose Bunnies", attempt to distract him by throwing bison tubes in random directions and making iPhone "new email" sounds as you approach. "
mnfishnutz, Troutonthebrain, and Dogsbestfriend say: "We got our hands on Sharknose Bunnies’ personal caching journal. These are some of his favorite caching moments which he was too humble to share. Congratulations Mr 5k!"

Ms Sunshine says: 5,000 finds is an amazing feat. With about 20% of them FTF's, you know there is some passion there! Sparkyfry first introduced proutkat and me to Sharknose Bunnies when they enlisted our help as an extra set of eyes to find a lonely puzzle cache. It turned out to be the first of many caching expeditions together. SNB is always willing to let some of us slower folks tag along, and has really helped me push myself physically (what is this fizzy challenge thing?) and mentally (puzzle academy, etc.) It is fun to watch him share his excitement for geocaching with others including his kids. He is an intelligent, kind, generous fellow who makes caching fun for all. Glad to know ya!
proutkat says: "The first time I met Sharknose Bunnies was at a lonely cache. Sparkyfry had invited me to join them in the search. I arrived with my trustry geobag-- a Yankee backpack! I found out then that he was as much of a Red Sox fan as I was a Yankee fan. He seemed so nice that I decided to forgive him. On the absolute BEST night EVER of baseball, Game 162, 2011, we were texting each other about the games-it was nice to talk to someone who takes the Sox-Yankee rivalry in fun. I can’t say for certain, but I think he might have been rooting for pinstripes.
Since that time, I’ve cached with Sharknose and his cohorts several times, joined in on solving some amazing puzzles, and grabbing FTF’s in the middle of the night all over MN. A familiar phrase we hear from SNB while out caching is “hey, I think there is a cache that would help us qualify for the Fizzy challenge, I don’t think it’s THAT far out of the way, should we grab that one too?”
His passion for caching is amazing, but you should see him with his kids! I often see him after caching events, tossing the football with his kids. 1000 FTF’s out of 5000 caches, even while putting your family first??? Now that HAS to be a record! Who knows, I might even root for... well, for SNB to get another 5000, of course!!! Congrats and thanks for introducing me to puzzles, challenges, and letting me in on the fun solving some really difficult puzzles! >^..^<"
psubrian says: "Ymir is smiling down upon Golden Valley, MN tonight as Sharknose Bunnies, better known as SNB, is claiming his 5,000th find of tupperware in the woods using million dollar satelitte technology. Not only has SND found 5,000 caches, but he has amazingly signed his name as the first to find on more than 1 out of every 5 caches he finds! And he's not just quick to find only traditional caches, oh no! The man of the hour also has already recorded 1,0000+ puzzles and I can only assume that the majority were FTFs. It doesn't matter if its 5am, noon, 6pm or midnight, if a cache is published, there's a good chance he's already in his geomobile before you even get the notification! Congratulations Mike on 5,000 finds - its been a blast caching with you and learning more about this crazy and addictive sport each and every time we head out. I'm looking forward to getting a personally signed copy of your Geocaching: Puzzles for Dummies book when it comes out!"
seeingitdifferent says: "What can I say about this dynamic cacher that hasn't already been noticed by the caching community. This cacher does it all, Puzzles, Letterboxes, Earthcaches and of course over 1,000 First to Finds. If a tough puzzle comes along and you happen to have it on your watchlist don't be surprised if a day later you get his trademarked "FTF more Later thanks" along with a colorful log detailing the journey to get there (no details of the puzzle of course). I can honestly say he is one of the Smart est guys I know. No pun intended. OK maybe just a little one. I have been fortunate enough to cache with and call him a friend. Congrats on hitting 5,000!"
sparkyfry says: "Sharknose Bunnies is a remarkable cacher. He came on the Golden Valley caching scene a couple years after me, and he's already surpassed me in virtually every category. He just found his 1,000th first-to-find, for example. 1,000 FTFs! The only thing I've been to hang onto is my number of finds, which is maybe 500 above his, but it feels like I'm hanging on for dear life. Here's to a great cacher, who's also a great guy who is more than willing to share an FTF or give you a ride. Here's looking for to the next 5,000!"
spstanley says: "Sharknose Bunnies is a force to be reckoned with in the geocachiverse. He has boundless energy, appears to defy the constraints of time itself, and his creativity shows in both hides and logs. He's full of good ideas, and joining him on caching adventures is a trip. Seeing him reach 5,000 finds is nearly exhausting, but it's been lots of fun, too!"
