Located in the well kept Usher Park in downtown Itasca this cache should be a pretty simple find. Nothing unusual here to trip you up. This is just nice little place to stop and observe. My first opportunity to use the "Dangerous Animals" attribute. Don't mess with Swans. You've been warned. There IS a protective fence surrounding the pond area. If you happen to find yourself climbing that barrier you have clearly done something incredibly wrong. Stay legal. Stay safe.
According the FBI crime database on swan offenders, for the years 1997-2003 more people were injured or maimed by Swans than by all species of ducks combined. We are still awaiting the tabulation of stats for the years 2004 to present. I can't imagine they've gotten any nicer. (Swans is wicked mean...and they probably aren't very tasty!)
