The Road to Eternity Traditional Cache
Goddess of Wisdom: I have decided it is time to take down this cache. Too much unnecessary moving of rocks from the low stone wall. Thanks to all who have found it over the last few years!

A small cache hidden near the beginning of the access road that leads to the only remaining cemetery on the Summersville Lake property, just south of Summersville, WV.
From U.S. Route 19, turn on to Airport Road and follow your GPS from there. When you get within 100 feet of the cache hiding place, look for the gravel pull off spot beside a blue cable gate on the left side of Airport Road. Park there. The cache is nearby.
After making the find, consider hiking on out the access road and check out Fitzwater Cemetery. It is the only burial place that did not have its graves relocated during the construction of Summersville Lake in the early 1960's. There are some very old graves - and a short connector path that leads to the main Salmon Run hiking/biking trail - at the back of the cemetery.
The cache is a small, 11 oz. Lock & Lock container with a few trade items , a pen and a log book.
