Challenge Fine Print
1. Cache finds for this challenge can be made anywhere in the world, subject to the other rules listed below.
2. You must log a note to this cache page stating that you are intending to start the challenge. You don't have to start immediately after this note (so if you muck it up, you don't have to log that you're starting again).
3. Your sequence of qualifying cache finds can start with any caches found after the note you logged stating your intention to start the challenge (see rule 2), subject to the following simple exclusions:
- Caches owned by, adopted by, originally placed by, previously found by, or replaced by, the finder cannot be used for this challenge. The point is to go out and find a bunch of qualifying caches placed by other people that you've never found before.
- Caches that were disabled or archived at the time of finding cannot be used for this challenge, even if the finder replaces them. If a cache is subsequently archived before completing the challenge, indicate this on your log, but the cache find will still qualify.
4. For verification purposes, the difficulty and terrain ratings of qualifying cache finds will be those ratings at the time of logging your find or note listing your qualifying cache finds, once you have completed the challenge.
5. Your qualifying finds must be a consecutive and unbroken string of finds/attendeds (although you can have DNFs in between and these are not considered to break the chain) and must give an exact total of 100 when adding up all the Difficulty ratings, and an exact total of 100 when adding up all the Terrain ratings.
6. Note that you can find and log caches that are excluded as per rule 3, above, in the middle of your consecutive caches and while they are excluded from qualification for this challenge, they are not considered to be breaking the consecutive qualifying finds for the purpose of this challenge. If you do, however, make a find that is excluded as per rule 3, be sure to state this in your find/note stating your qualifying cache finds so that when we verify your qualification, there is no confusion.
Please do have fun with this challenge - it's certainly meant to be just a bit of fun. Qualifying caches can be found, well, virtually everywhere in the world, and more are being placed just about every day, so this challenge will not be out of reach of any geocacher in the country.
Happy caching!
