This is a small lock & lock that should be an easy find. It is rated a 1.5 for terrain only because it is not handicap accessible. The original contents of the container are three James Madison dollar coins, a log book, a pencil and several small items.

This cache was hidden on the 261st anniversary of the birth of our fourth president. He was born about 1/4 mile east of the cache site, at his maternal grandparents home.
James Madison, Jr. is hailed as the Father of the United States Constitution. He worked with Alexander Hamilton and John Jay to write the Federalist Papers. He is also known for drafting the first ten amendments to the Constitution, which resulted in another of his nicknames, the "Father of the Bill of Rights". As Secretary of State, Madison oversaw the Louisiana Purchase which doubled the size of the United States.
