Geocache Description:

Big Easter Egg

ENGLISH
(Italiano più in basso)

This cache will take you to a peculiar construction and it is part of the Modern Ticino Architecture series.

This building is characterized by its ovoid shape and by the socket that separates it from the surroundings. A plaza with fountains and water ponds reflect its unusual shape. The structure is the biggest shotcrete shell in Europe. The building was designed by Arch. Elio Ostinelli and was opened to the public in 2011. It’s total length is of 50m and its height of 22m. The inside receives the sun light through 1024 small glass domes embedded in the concrete shell.

You are looking for a matchbox cache containing the log only.

ITALIANO

Buon divertimento.
