Loyal Toast Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Outspan: The Cache has been removed/stolen by unauthorized person/s. Careful wide search was carried to no avail. There is no rubbish left and the small pieces of concrete pipe used to hide it have been left as these were already there when the cache was first placed. Thus the site is as was found originally.

It is planned to place a new Cache elsewhere in near future and to be called 'Burnt Toast'. A site is in mind that has the same features, convenience and pleasure to find as Loyal Toast.

Geocache Description:

In Dark Lane (park here) off busy A35. Immediately behind a double tree at the end of a fence line twixt two fields. In March banks abound with daffodils and to E are thatched cottages and a delightful footpath SE to Walkford. To NE is the parish church of Hinton St Michaels and All Angels.

Loyal Toast celebrates the Queens Jubilee and the route of the Olympic Torch along the A35 just 100 metres distant. A trackable fluffy duck 'Squeeky' was helped to get to the Games and saw the Gee Gee's at Greenwich Park. He then travelled on and the last I heard he was in East Anglia joy riding from Cache to Cache having travelled hundreds of miles with a smile on his face. Look out for him in East Anglia.
