This is the newest and smallest gator to establish a place in the canal. The other, larger gators were probably chased away by the canal work over the course of three months.
Mimsy and her sisters were given the freedom to grow in a section west of here between Kensington and Logwood. Mimsy is the largest of the bunch. Others seen in this canal section are a little more than a foot long where she is closer to three.
However, all of the work is now done. Will she be usurped?
