Lock Down Series - Cricket Troll Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

croppski: As it should be obvious we do not maintain our caches because we lost interest in geocaching sometime ago, this was mainly because of the type of people within the geocaching 'community'.
We stopped reading logs when we realised actually the nasty horrible old man you get next door who pops your ball had found a voice and it was here.
Unfortunately there were some nice cachers we met along the way but they were seldom and few. Most comments came from the types of people we would never associate with, this type of geocacher has infected and ruined this once nice pasttime with bilious comments, because life experience has made them bitter they wish to bring misery to others.
We don't intend to allow this type of person any space within our lives and therefore intend to archive all our caches, leaving the poisonous nasty's to continue with their crusade.
We will continue to find caches as this is something we can do without interacting with other members.
Any further comments made either on our caches to directly to our page will not be acknowledged, so please don't waste your time, as we won't be wasting ours.

Geocache Description:

This our first Bonus-cache, you will need the information (sited in cache lid) from each cache in order to complete the finale. Hope you have as much fun finding as we did placing each cache. Happy Hunting Photobucket

This bridge passes over Hockery Brook and over looks St Peter's Cricket club, a short walk from the site of old Cardinal Newman School, now used by Hindley Rugby League. Be careful during season, there may be lots of flying balls. When we placed the cache it was a bit soggy under foot, but a good pair of wellies will do. It is currently early spring and not much is growing yet, but I expect during summer some areas may become overgrown particularly with nettles and brambles, so please proceed with caution.
