Sawbreaker Survey Spur is a little different from the rest of the caches. Here we will ask you to be a bit introspective about yourself as a geocacher. Think of it as a game of geocaching truth or dare. "TFTC SL" wont cut it here folks. AFter you find the cache and sign the log, we want you to answer a question in your online log. If you want to use a cut and paste log in the field and then edit when you get home that will be fine. You are not "required" to answer the questions to log as found, but be a sport!
Here is question #1:Tell us about the first geocache you ever found.
Sawdust11 I spent 2 days trying to find my first cache- I had NO IDEA what I was doing! I unsuccessfully searched for a couple LPC's and a GRC before I finally found a very fitting #1. It was in the Berkshires on a beautiful hillside overlooking snow-covered pastures. It was (believe it or not) a bison tube hanging from a tree. From that day on I was hooked... nearly 1000 caches in just over 1 year. And yes, my wife thinks I'm nuts!
Jawbreaker1222 My first DNF and my First Smile were both LPC. Me and the wife looked all over the pole. Up and down and left and right. Took us about 3 trips back and forth between two caches. Eventually I sat down in frustration and the lid moved. What a joyous and cleaver hide I thought. Now almost 1000 caches later I don't feel quite the same about them.
