 L'Arma di Pollera
"Arma" è l’espressione dialettale del ponente ligure per indicare una caverna. Visto che praticamente tutte le "grotte" sono state, prima ancora, delle caverne abitate dai nostri antenati nella preistoria, ecco spiegato l’uso del termine "Arma" per indicarle.
L'aspetto particolare di questa grotta sono i due portali d’ingresso situati ad Ovest e Sud Ovest (quest’ultimo raggiunge un’altezza di 15 mt. ed è largo circa 30) dai quali si entra nella vasta e pianeggiante Sala Perrando, che a destra sprofonda, in parte, in un pozzo e, in parte degrada, lungo un ripido e sdrucciolevole scivolo fangoso di quasi 50 mt., sino al Salone Issel. Ci si trova così in uno spazio definito “di crollo”, che si è formato dal distacco, in epoche remote, di enormi blocchi di roccia dalla volta della cavità originaria che hanno, per così dire, piastrellato l’intero suolo trasformandolo in un ampio tavolato, interrotto in vari punti da profonde fessure: il Plateau. A margine dell'impressionante cumulo franoso scorre il Rio Montesordo (in periodi di secca quasi completamente nascosto tra gli interstizi della gigantesca frana) le cui acque provengono da Pianmarino, l'altipiano posto poco più in alto alla grotta.
Accesso:Da Perti (WP): proseguire lungo la strada asfaltata per circa 2 km. Quando finisce l'asfalto si prosegue a destra, segnavia due palline piene rosse. Attraversato un gruppo di case, si segue un sentierino che abbandona la strada principale sulla destra e si raggiunge un torrente. Dopo averlo superato, si mantiene la sinistra costeggiandolo per qualche metro. Poi al primo bivio, in corrispondenza di un segnavia 2 pallini rossi prendere la diramazione a destra, seguendo il segnavia blu improvvisato sempre in salita fino ad arrivare al grande antro "sud ovest" della grotta.
Il Cache:Le coordinate del listing si riferiscono all'ingresso della grotta. Viste le circostanze, avrete una pessima ricezione gps. Per rendere il cache accessibile non solo a speleologi navigati ma a (quasi) tutti gli amici geocachers, è stato posizionato all'interno della saletta lato sinistro, vista dall'antro d'ingresso, alla quale si puo' accedere senza particolare attrezzatura. Trattasi di un contenitore Ammobox regular.
Non è assolutamente necessario spostarsi verso il lato destro, quello dello scivolo, che porta ad una notevole profondità e potrebbe anche risultare pericoloso se ci si avventura in modo poco attento e/o senza l'adeguata attrezzatura.
Attrezzatura:Scarpe da trekking, acqua, torcia.
Da qui potete anche raggiungere La chiesetta di Sant'Antonino con una passeggiata di ca. 30 min prendendo sopra alla grotta il sentiero segnato con due rombi rossi vuoti e successivamente quello segnato con con tre palline rosse piene.
 L'Arma di Pollera
"Arma" indicates "cavern" in the dialect of the western Ligurian Riviera. Since almost all "caves" were before "caverns", inhabited by our ancestors in prehistory, this explains the use of the term "Arma" to describe them.
The unique aspect of this cave are the two entrance gates located in the West and South West (this one reaches a height of 15 meters and a width of 30 meters) from which you enter the wide and flat Perrando-hall. This first hall descends on the right side partially into a well while the other part degrades, along a steep and slippery muddy slide of nearly 50 meters., up to a hall named Issel. This area in the bottom is defined as "collapsed" because it was formed by the detachment of huge blocks of rock of the original cavity which have tiled the entire floor turning it into a large plateau, interrupted by deep cracks in several places. Alongside this impressive accumulation landslide flows the Rio Montesordo (in periods of dry almost completely hidden in the interstices), whose waters come from Pianmarino, the high plain which sits above the cave.
Access:From Perti (WP): Go ahead along the road for about 2 km. When the pavement ends, continue to the right. After passing a group of houses, follow a trail that leaves the main road on the right and you reach a creek. After crossing it, keep left alongside the creek for a few meters. Then at the first trail junction, where you see a sing made of two red dots, go right uphill , following the blue improvised signs and you'll arrive at the "southwest"entrance of the cave.
The Cache:The coordinates refer to the entrance of the cave. Due to the circumstances in loco, you will have a poor gps signal. To make the cache accessible not only to navigated speleologists, but to (almost) all the geocachers, the box was positioned inside the left hall (in prospective of the entrance, which you can enter without any special equipment. The cache is a regular Ammobox.
It's absolutely not necessary to move toward the right side, where you find the long slide, which leads in the deepness and could be dangerous if you proceed careless and / or without any proper equipment.
Equipment:Hiking shoes, water, flashlight.
From here you may also reach La chiesetta di Sant'Antonino within approx. 30 minutes taking the trail marked two red rhombs from above the cave and then at a junction the one marked with 3 red dots.
 L'Arma di Pollera
"Arma" bedeutet auf dem an der westlichen Ligurischen Riviera gesprochenen Dialekt bewohnte Höhle. Da fast alle Grotten ersteimal von unseren Vorfahren in der Urrzeit bewohnte Höhlen waren, der Begriff "Arma".
Etwas sehr besonderes an dieser Höhle sind die zwei Eingangstore im Westen und Südwesten gelegen (letzteres erreicht eine Hoehe von 15 Metern und eine Breite von 30 Metern) durch welche man in die grosse, flache Perrando-Halle eintritt. Diese Halle wird nach rechts hin flacher und geht dann in eine 50 Meter lange matschige, rutschige und steile Rutsche über, welche dann wiederrum in die Issel-Halle mündet. Dort unten befindet sich ein Ambiente "des Zusammenbruchs" welches durch die Abloesung von grossen Felsbrocken aus der decke der ursprünglichen Hoehle entstanden ist. Durch das herabgebrochene Geroell ist der boden quasi gepflastert worden und es entstand das Plateau, welches durch einige tiefe Risse unterbrochen ist. Neben dieser beindruckenden Geroellansammlung fliesst der Rio Montesordo (in der Trockenzeit fast komplett in der Zwischenraeumen des Geroells versteckt) dessen Gewässer vom Pianmarino, der oberhalb der Höhle liegenden Hochebene, stammen.
Zugang:Von Perti (WP): circa 2 km der asphaltierten Strasse folgen. Wenn der Asphalt endet, rechts halten. An einer Gruppe von Häusern vorbei, den Pfad rechts bis zu einem (ausgetrockneten) Bach. Nach dem Überqueren, links halten und diesen ein Paar Meter entlang gehen. Dann an der ersten Wegkreuzung, wo Du eine Markierung mit zwei rote Punkte siehst, rechts bergauf, der blauen, improvisierten Markierung folgend bis Du am "Südwest" Eingang der Höhle zu angelangst.
Der Cache:Der Cache: Die Koordinaten des Listings beziehen sich auf den Eingang der Höhle. Bedingt durch die Begebehnheiten vor Ort werdet Ihr sehr schlechtes GPS Signal empfangen. Um den Cache nicht nur Höhlenforschern sondern (fast) allen Geocachern zugänglich zu machen, wurde er in dem kleinen Saal links (vom Eingang aus gesehen), welcher ohne jegliche Ausrüstung zugaenglich ist, positioniert. Der Cache ist regular Ammobox.
Es ist absolut nicht notwendig, sich zur rechten Seite, zur Rutsche, welche in die Tiefe führt, zu bewegen, da dies durch Unachtsamkeit bzw. ohne die erforderliche Ausrüstung gefährlich werden koennte (auch wenn es einen magisch anzieht).
Ausrüstung:Wanderschuhe, Wasser, Taschenlampe.
Von hier aus kannst Du auch in ca. 30 Minuten La chiesetta di Sant'Antonino erreichen indem in dem Du oberhalb der Grotte den mit zwei roten Rauten gekenzzeichneten Weg nimmst und dann jenen mit drei roten Punkten.
