This is one of 36 Girl Scout geocaches that will be placed in Nassau County representing the 36 Girl Scout Councils in the county.
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a girl can earn in Girl Scouting. For my own Gold Award, I thought it would be a great idea to use geocaching to showcase other girl's Gold Awards.
Andrea Crivello’s program titled “Teens R.O.A.R.” (Reach Out And Read) redecorated the young adult section of their library and started exciting programs for the teens in her library in 2007.
Please note that over the years, the requirements to earn this award have changed.
