I recently came across this new and exciting type of logic puzzle that forms a picture when solved. This is a puzzle that I, myself, have not seen before and thought it would pose a great challenge for everyone. Time and patience is a must to complete this puzzle.
This puzzle has a high difficulty level, taking anywhere from several minutes to several hours to solve. For some, it may even take a day or two. However, make one mistake and you’ll find yourself stuck later on as you get closer to the solution.
The puzzle consists of a grid containing numbers in various places. Every number, except for the 1’s, is half of a pair. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by connecting the pairs and painting the paths so that the number of squares in the path, including the squares at the ends, equals the value of the clues being connected together.
For example, you have a square with a number 5, beginning at that 5, color a path that equals five total squares and ends at a different number 5. Squares containing 1 represent paths that are 1-square long. See examples below. Paths may ONLY follow horizontal and vertical directions and are NOT ALLOWED to cross other paths.
DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE! If you take your time and follow the instructions, you will do fine. It is suggested that you print out a couple of copies in landscape layout and do your puzzle in pencil with a good, clean eraser…....... you WILL need it!
