Geocache Description:

A nice little wood between Woolacombe and Mortehoe with a stream running along the bottom. If you venture down to the stream, you can pick up the valley footpath that takes you back to Combesgate beach in a hairpin fashion. A very pleasant walk.
Stealth is needed here as it is near a camping site, so the summer months may be heaving with muggles.

I have given this a terrain rating of 3.5 as there is one path that is of that grade leading to this cache.

Suggested parking on Woolacombe Esplanade (Pay and Display at certain times of the year) and park as near to Combesgate Beach as you can get. Pick up the public footpath between houses on the opposite side of the road. See Waypoints for footpath co-ords.

The NT has kindly given permission to place this cache.

The cache is a red bison tube. The GPS is not reliable here due to tree cover so I have given you a good hint.
