Geocache Description:

Located on the Esplanade in Greenock From here you have beautiful views across the River Clyde It is a lovely place for a walk, cycle etc and is therefore can be busy so stealth may be required for this one! This is a quick cache and dash! But please do enjoy the views!

Magnetic nano cache. The item upon which it is attached "was laid down in 1880 by the Trustees at Roseneath Patch. It was the first flashing buoy to be established to aid navigation" It was built by D&T Stevenson Engineers to the Trustees.
