Geocache Description:

On private property with the permission of the lodge -- please be respectful!

This cache is located near the front of Beth Eden Lodge #205, chartered as Webster Lodge on January 21, 1856. The membership moved the lodge hall board-by- board in the late 1800s from it's original site near the intersection of Bluff Lake Rd. and Hwy. 25. This is one of three "Moon Lodges" in the state, so called, because their meeting day coincides with the phase of the full moon. Beth Eden meets the Saturday on or before the full moon. It is also the second oldest lodge hall, still in use, in the state. The oldest is Pearl Lodge #23 in Jackson. Cache is a .50 cal ammo can and contains the log, pen/pencil, and small trade items. There is room for TBs if you should have one hitching a ride that needs to be moving on its' way to a new destination! 2B1 - Ask1
