Geocache Description:

– please bring your own pen - This is a small micro which was originally attached to artificial crow sitting on a branch. I guess the owls must have been upset with it because after one night it was ripped to shreds.

A little history.
Forty years ago this was the main haul road for Mac Blo and Timber West hauling logs north from ther Piggott/Oyster watershed. They used off highway trucks called ‘Fat Trucks’. These were 14’ wide at the bunks and often pulled pups behind their trailers. This was the narrowest portion of the road and so this little by pass was constructed. The empty truck heading to the bush could duck in here to allow the loaded truck to get by. There was no way they could have passed otherwise.
