This is a little history lesson on Joseph Gale who settled in the area as a land claimant. He built the first grist mill here in 1844. Nearby Gales Creek is named after him. The finders of this cache will discover some neat items along with learning about the local history, as well as an enjoyable peaceful drive through the Gales Creek valley.
