"Le chateau d'eau".



En arrivant sur place on ne voit qu'un bâtiment. C'est l'ancienne métairie de la Taillerie.
Le batiment surmonté d'un clocheton carré abrite les restes de la machine à vapeur qui fournissait l'eau courante au chateau de la commanderie.
En regardant par la fenêtre on aperçoit cette belle machinerie qui pompait l'eau.
Sur un pignon le prenom Amadine est celui de Amadine Cremieux propriétaire du chateau de la Commanderie et fondatrice de la maison de l'hospitalité (Ballan), hospice pour soigner les pauvres.

When we got there we see a building. This is the old farmhouse of Taillerie.
The building topped with a square steeple houses the remains of the steam engine that provided running water to the castle of the preceptory.
Looking through the window you can see this beautiful machinery that pumped water.
A pinion on the first name is that of Amandine Amandine Cremieux owner of the castle of the Commandery and founder of the house of hospitality (Ballan), hospice care for the poor.
