Geocache Description:

This cache is the first of a few planned 'extras' to hopefully help make the route you need to take on this walk a bit clearer.

The Linton Long walk series is for the die hard hikers. It is a series of 9 caches on a 7 mile walk exploring the Weald. The route is particularly beautiful at blossom time when the western section comes alive with colour. The eastern section of this walk passes through the parkland of Linton and Boughton Monchelsea, where the great house is set in a deer park.
