On The Water: Muck Under The Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache is located on a little body of water off from Palomita Preserve.   This will not be an easy traditional to get.  You will have to carry you kayak down a trail and then make the rest of the trip through some shallow water, under a bridge and to the cache.   If you need a rest while making you way to the cache, just sit back and enjoy the wildlife.  While placing this cache I seen several different ducks, turtles, and  even a Bald Eagle.

Location Description: An overlook along the Grand Haven Township boardwalk provides excellent views of the diverse wetlands, waterfowl, water-lilies, and surrounding hardwoods and pines along Little Pigeon Creek.  A footpath loops through the forest on the south side.  Highlights include migratory raptors, shorebirds, ducks, and songbirds.  Flocks of passenger pigeons once roosted here."
