A roomy cache in the Northern section of Chiltern Mt Pilot National Park
Through the plains you can see the 'sunlit plains extended' - I was thinking of 'Clancy of the Overflow' while I was looking for a spot for this hide. You can see to the Murray River and well into NSW from this cache, on one of the last foot-hills of the Great Dividing Range.
Keep an eye out for a little golden brown mouse which seems to live in some rocks about 20 metres away.
Cache is a standard Systema container with logbook, pen, some trinkets and a Cookie Monster TB.
National Park so no dogs.
