This is one of 30 caches placed as part of the 2012 Tri-Cities Geocoin Challenge.
There are 10 geocaches placed in each of the three cities. To earn all 3 pieces of the puzzle geocoin, you must find all 30 caches. Each cache has a code word written inside. Remember to record the word; you will need that code word to fill out your entry form. Only one city coin will be awarded per household which will give you one set.

The construction of the Green Bridge was seen as a landmark in the development of the state's economy. The significance of the bridge is partly reflected in the beliefs and expectations of local and state residents who perceived the dedication as a history-making event, bringing together people from across the state; a gala affair that included speeches, car caravans, picnics, street dancing, and carnivals. As the Kennewick Courier-Reporter wrote, "The day the bridge was opened to traffic, a new era dawned for each community." The bridge was also an essential part of the old Inland Empire Highway system.
