There was I, walking the ducks from Hambledon to Clanfield, as you do, and as I was always taught that it's rude to pass a pub without popping in, I popped in.
I left the 10 waddlers outside whilst I went indoors to conduct an experiment - How empty does a glass have to be before somebody asks "Would you like another one?"
I can now tell you, it takes several pints before the gist of the experiment catches on. Needless to say, while I was busy conducting important research, the blinking waddlers waddled off.
Can you please help me locate them?
They're all different characters of different ages and so their hiding techniques may vary.
The first one you're looking for is Carole, a bit of a feisty bird. She's probably done the loop dozens of times already looking for the others.
You're looking for 10 Caches placed along mostly quiet country roads and bridal paths. If you haven't done them already, there are some nearby Novel caches including some enroute, and C it's Hidden a short multi cache. Please bring your own writing implement.
The route is just under 5 miles and takes in some of the quietest lanes and paths in Hampshire. There's some really stunning views to be had. When placing the caches there were no stiles or gates to hinder the way.
The routes first 500 metres or so is a bit of a fast road with no pavements. An alternative (for walkers as opposed to cyclist) is to cross the road from the pub and walk up Old Mill Lane towards the Paper Moon Cache, then a gentle slope down and cross the road again. You're on quiet roads now.
