This cache has been archived.

walnut-tripper: The logging in the SGL has made it quite precarious to see the reflectors and access a managable trail to GZ. Archived and making into a new, milestone cache for a friend!

Geocache Description:

A second nightcache on SGL318. Complete this one along with NEPAG#9: Night Eyes for the ultimate DOUBLE HEADER!

Park at the SGL lot off Stony Hollow Road. Parking is large enough for several cars if parked appropriately. Find the trailhead in the lot and travel until you reach the coords.

If you look to your right, you will see a large hemlock with a fallen tree nearby. There is an unusual object on that fallen tree, but merely use this information to ensure you are at the correct location. Look into the woods for your first marker. Follow them to and from the cache. When you find two vertical markers, they point to the cache.

Terrain is a 3 due to the bushwacking at night.

While visiting this SGL, I came across lots of turkeys. I could hear them, but I could not find them. Too much swampland in this SGL to circumnavigate. I did have a little garner snake slithering near my feet. Kept thinking every stick I walked near was "the big one". Ha ENJOY!
