This is our first multi so we decided to make it something a bit different. We hope you will have fun and enjoy it!
We placed it in one of the most beautiful parks in the area, with rolling green lawns, pretty flowerbeds and a pond with a waterfall. It is also very dog-friendly so you can bring your furry friends along too. Dogs are even allowed to run off-leash here!
It is quite a popular local park so there are lots of muggles walking their dogs during the late afternoon and most weekends. Stealth will definitely be required during these times. There used to be a cache in this park called "Man's Best Friend", which was archived at the end of 2011. We felt that this great location should not be lost so we decided to place another cache here.
The best access to the cache is from the pedestrian gate at the given parking coordinates. Please note that while this is the shortest route, it is also the steepest route. The gate is locked from 18:00 in the evening so be sure to leave enough time to get out again or else it will be a very long walk back to where you parked. (Thanks for letting us know, Jors!)
Access to the park may be gained at all times from Dorado St. This is a much longer (although still very pleasant) walk during the day, but we're not sure about safety after dark here as with most parks at night.
This is a simple 2-step multi. From the parking coordinates, walk to the listed coordinates. This is Waypoint 1.
At Waypoint 1, you will find a container with the coordinates for Waypoint 2, as well as an important piece of equipment. You will need this for the next (and final) step so take it with you to Waypoint 2. Follow the path down to Waypoint 2 - be careful, it's steep.
At Waypoint 2, press the button on the device.
The final container holds a logbook, pencil, sharpener and some swag. The container is big enough for small trackables.
IMPORTANT: Once you have found the final container, please return the device to the container at Waypoint 1.
