Plezalna pot na ŠMARNO GORO
S parkirišča se usmerimo proti vasi Vikrče v katero pridemo po nekaj korakih hoje. V vasi se levo rahlo navzgor odcepi cesta proti začetku plezalne poti. Odcep s ceste je neoznačen! Po nekaj deset metrih hoje po tej cesti se levo odcepi slabša cesta, ki nas pripelje do vstopa plezalne poti.
Tu nas smerokaz za zelo zahtevno pot usmeri desno navzgor. Dobro zavarovana pot nas sprva vodi po ozki soteski navzgor, nato sledi kratko zavarovano prečenje do najzahtevnejšega dela poti. Pot naprej se navpično vzpne po steni navzgor. V pomoč so nam skobe in jeklenica, ki jo lahko uporabimo za samovarovanje. Ko premagamo navpične skobe pridemo na še zahtevnejše mesto. S pomočjo skob in jeklenice moramo preplezati krajšo previsno steno. Naprej postane pot lažja in se vzpenja skozi gozd sprva še kar strmo navzgor. Nekoliko pozneje se priključimo Westrovi poti, po kateri priporočam sestop. Pot naprej se vzpenja po z gozdom poraščenem zahodnem grebenu Grmade vse do vrha, kjer pa se nam odpre lep razgled.

Climbing route on ŠMARNO GORO
