I & M Canal History Post Multi-Cache
cldisme: It has been a nice run. However it has not been found in 2 years. Time to change strategies and open up the area for an innovative geocache.

The I & M Canal Trail has installed a series of posts up and down the trail providing a brief history of the canal local to that particular area.
At the listed coordinates is one such post on the south edge of the trail.
To find the final you must do a little math based on the numbers on the post.
The 2-digit Post Number = AB
The year on the WEST side = CDEF
The year on the EAST side = GHIJ
The coordinates for the final are:

W 88° (A+B-H) (H-C) . (I-J) (E-G-J) (I)
1. Geocache is placed on Illinois Department of Natural Resources managed property with permission.
2. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: Food items, inappropriate, offensive, or hazardous materials.
