Geocache Description:

*** Cache Is NOT At The Posted Coordinates! ***

This cache is placed as a tribute to a great cacher who is about to find cache number 3K! This is a puzzle because DogSoft loves a good puzzle. Hopefully this one isn't too tough.

The first time I went caching it was because El Hanzo, DogSoft and BluntMaster showed up and said there was a new cache published. Of course it was also 11pm but they seemed really excited about something they called an "FTF". DogSoft loves a good FTF, he has probably found 156 by now! I figured what the heck, I have nothing better to do, might as well go caching. We proceeded to the creek and spent awhile searching in the dark before DogSoft came up with the find. And we were first. It was just one of many. Caching quickly became a tradition and I have probably been out caching with DogSoft 345 times or so.

If you've ever met DogSoft you know he is tall, really tall. His height is quite useful when we require a reach. His real disadvantage is on a hill. Especially a steep slope will give DogSoft some pretty serious problems and I have watched him slide, roll or fall down a hill about 3,830 times! Give or take a few.

Another great thing about DogSoft is that he is always willing to help another cacher. Whether it be a hint on a hide or help on a puzzle he will always discuss all the possibilities. I've also watched him help to train new cachers. He has been out 5 or 6 times already with the newest member of the ShadowcacherZ, JSvetlik.

DeathsHand77 and I were there when DogSoft found 63 caches on 3/16/2011 in Hudson, his best day so far but he will surely break that record soon. The ShadowcacherZ voyaged to West Bend last year for their great mega event. We loved the 66 caches they placed even though we found most of them in the rain. We also enjoyed all the 3,556 other cachers in attendance and plan to return next year! West Bend has given us a taste for the mega events and we are currently planning a trip to MOGA this year that is all about the numbers. DogSoft has found at least 9 power trails and has solved 37 puzzles so far. I can't wait!

In the end DogSoft is a great guy, a great friend and a great cacher. A heartfelt congrats from all the ShadowcacherZ on 3K and here's hoping the next 3K are just as much fun! Now get out and go caching!
