Llanars – Feitús
Introducció
Llanars està situat a la comarca del Ripollès, a 983 m. d’altitud. Té una ubicació privilegiada a la Vall de Camprodon, entre el riu Ter i la Riera de Feitús. En el terme municipal hi ha els veïnats, formats per masos dispersos, de Feitús i Espinalba.
La primera menció del topònim Llanars data de l’any 876; aleshores l’indret es coneixia com a Landaris. Sembla que el nom actual podria ser el resultat de l’evolució de la forma “landar”, grup o conjunt de “landes”, extensió de terra plana on creixien només plantes silvestres.
L’església parroquial de Sant Esteve ocupa el centre del nucli urbà. Els habitatges més antics, establerts al costat nord de l’església, s’alcen en uns carrers estrets i de poca llargada, que no segueixen cap distribució simètrica.
Fins a la dècada dels anys seixanta del segle XX, Llanars era un poble eminentment agrícola i ramader i un indret amb una marcada tradició familiar. El turisme també hi era present, tot i que a escala reduïda. La instal.lació de l’estació d’esquí al paratge d’Ulldeter (Vallter 2000), ha estat determinant per al creixement que ha experimentat durant aquests últims anys. En l’actualitat té 450 habitants.
El catxé
El catxé es troba a un bonic racó poc abans d’arribar al veïnat de Feitús, a tocar al Torrent del Rodà. Els primers testimonis escrits del nom “Feitús” es troben en un document de l’any 1249. Les cases de pagès son de petites dimensions, i la majoria dels masos, de segona residència. Com a curiositat, resulta que l’any 1860 hi havia més habitants a aquest veïnat (304) que no pas al poble de Llanars (280). Abans d’arribar-hi, a peu de carretera, hi trobareu l’oratori de Sant Pere, situat al paratge anomenat El Puig.
Esperem que gaudiu d’aquest catxé una mica especial a causa del seu format. Hem intentat que quedés molt integrat en el paisatge.
Llanars - Feitús
Introduction
Llanars is located at Ripollès at 983 m. altitude. It has a privileged location in the Valley of Camprodon between Ter’s river and Feitús stream. In the township there are neighborhoods formed by farmhouses scattered in Feitús and Espinalba.
The first mention of the name Llanars dates from 876 and then the place was known as Landaris. It seems that the current name could be the result of the evolution of the form "landar," group or set of "landes", an extension of flat land where they grew only wild plants.
The parish church of St. Stephen occupies the center of town. The older houses set on the north side of the church stands in a narrow and short length, which do not follow any symmetric distribution.
Until the early sixties of the twentieth century, it was an agricultural village and livestock and a place with a strong traditional family life. Tourism was also present, although on a reduced scale. The installation of the ski area of the Ulldeter (Vallter 2000), has been key to the growth experienced in recent years. Currently has 450 people living in there.
The cache
The cache is in a beautiful place just before reaching the Feitús neighborhood, near the Roda torrent. The first written evidence of the name "Feitús" is in a document dated of 1249. The farms are small, and most of them, second houses. As a curiosity, in 1860, there were more people in the neighborhood of Feitús (304 inhabitants) than in Llanars (only 280 people). Before arriving to Feitús, on the road, you will find the chapel of St. Pere, located in a place called El Puig.
