E: The Grândola mountain range is composed of small, but
very steep mountains, with peaks at about 200m altitude and narrow
valleys at 50m. Since the ground is very irregular, there is no
agriculture, only "montado", which is a plantation of cork oak. It
is a very peaceful place and if you stay very quiet for a while you
will see lots of different birds and maybe a rabbit or two.
The closest road is about 1 km away, but the nicest tracks are
along the creeks.

P: A Serra de Grândola é formada por pequenas colinas,
bastante íngremes, com picos a cerca de 200m e vales apertados nos
50m de altitude. Como o terreno é muito irregular, não há
agricultura; apenas montado - cultura do sobreiro. É um lugar muito
pacifico; Se for silencioso verá muitas aves diferentes e, talvez,
um ou outro coelho.
A estrada mais próxima passa a cerca de 1 Km. No entanto os
caminhos mais bonitos acompanham o percurso dos regatos.
