Geocache Description:

A great place to sit down!

This is a great place to sit on the bench and watch the world going by. The busy Gloucester Road runs east-west in front of you with Small Brook road straight ahead. Just to the right is the Hole in the Wall through to Waterside. Behind you are the extensive grounds of the Chase Hotel, a popular wedding venue in the Town.

This is also approximately the site of the Chest's Mill or Chace Mill that was powered by the stream that is just to the right. No evidence remains of the mill.

The pond behind you used to power a water wheel which, in tern, powered a pump that ran a fountain in the garden of the house that is front of you to the right (east of Small Brook Road).

This cache only holds a log book and a very small pencil.

Please be very careful looking for and replacing this cache as it is a busy area!!
