Great Famine commemoration at Knockfierna
According to a local farmer we met, about 1000 people lived in the stone houses of Knockfierna before the Great Famine. Several of the houses survived as ruins which were rebuilt by the Knockfierna Memorial Society to commemorate the famine. You may notice that several ruins were recently structurally reinforced (with cement and wooden beams) and fitted with freshly thatched fake roofs. The clues you wil get at the site of the memorial will lead you into one of the derelict houses. Do not worry, due to the recent structural reinforcement, entering most of the houses is safe. Anyway, do exercise caution and be aware that you are entering at your own risk! I provide exact coords and detailed spoiler to prevent unnecessary rummaging in the houses. You MUST NOT and NEED NOT move any stones to find or re-hide! Use spoiler pic, LOOK for it, do not rummage!
