This cache has been archived.

The Blue Quasar: I've decided that since this one has been confirmed as missing that it is a good time to shut it down for good.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Diversification: The simplest example of diversification is provided by the proverb "Don't put all your eggs in one basket". Dropping the basket will break all the eggs. Placing each egg in a different basket is more diversified. There is more risk of losing one egg, but less risk of losing all of them.

It takes a certain type of person to create Geocache Listings. Some are content to create basic experiences using only Traditional Caches. Some others enjoy making complicated Wherigo Cartridges or add puzzles to their caches. All are welcome equally as they provide others with a reason to get outside and have some fun.

Of those that create geocaches there are a few that like to dabble in many different types of listings and those are the people that this challenge cache will focus upon. You are looking for what might be considered the "Well Rounded Cache Placers", and then to have found at least one cache by them to score points.

To complete the challenge component of this cache you will need to collect 8 points determined by the following.

5 or less different cache types = 0 points
6 or 7 different cache types = 1 point
8 or 9 different cache types = 2 points
10 or 11 different cache types = 3 points
12 or more different cache types = 4 points

As an example at the time of publication if you have found ANY one of my caches ever it would give you 3 points since I have 10 different icons under my "Geocaches Owned". However to increase the challenge you may not use me for points. If you've been to Seattle and found a cache by Moun10bike then you might claim him for 2 points since he has 8 unique icons on his "Geocaches Owned" list.

How to qualify for the challenge: This is IMPORTANT. Please include your proof in your "Found It" log. You can do this by including links to your logs on the caches you are using to validate the find, and I will check to see that the owners of those caches meet the requirements.

As an example, if you were allowed to use me and you had found one of my caches then this is what you would link http://coord.info/GL3QF66P but since you can't use me you will have to find 8 other points. Please use links to your logs, not caches or players... your logs.
