"The Demise of Mr. Geo. Cacher" is A Murder Mystery Geocaching Event ( like the famous board game). Kick off for the event will be Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11am, at Brushy Lake Park. Camping is available for those who may want to stay and enjoy a campfire that evening. Murder Mystery Winner will be announced around 6pm, dinner shortly afterward. Please bring any TB's, Geocoins etc. that you may want to trade or brag about.
In celebration of the end of another successful school year for the youngest of our group we are planning a 2 part Murder Mystery Dinner Event. We will place 10 new caches in and around the Sallisaw area for this event (that will later be submitted to become permanent caches.) The game will be played like the board game; each cache will contain a suspect, a weapon and a place. Cachers will need to visit each cache location to mark off the enclosed information on their playing cards and return to the park to claim the FTF (First to Finish)...as in the board game, the name/ place/ weapon NOT found within the caches is the answer to this Who-Dun-It...
The second part of the event "Night Caching at the Lake" occurs after dark when participants can compete to be the FTF (5 to 10?) temporary caches that will be placed within the park just for this night's event.
In between the events we will host a "Beans and Breads" dinner event. We'll provide the place settings, bowls and pots of beans if participants will provide some form of breads ( french bread, corn bread, biscuits, rolls etc...) to share with everyone else. Please bring your own beverages and dessert type thing to share.
Please log your RSVP so we'll be sure to have enough beans to go around as those things don't cook up none too quick...lol.......
