Geocache Description:

St. Mary Church Attleborough

The church has Saxon foundations and is built in Norman and Early Enblish styles. The present building is only part ot the original construction. Part of the church belonged to the College of the Holy Cross, founded in the late 14th Century by Sir Robert Mortimer. Mediavel records suggest the young St. Edmund- King of the East Angles spent a year at the College wih the priets in Attleborough before his Coronation in Suffolk in AD856. PLEASE place the cache exactly as you found it. You are looking for a small black tube DOWN LOW.. This is also a very high muggle area so take your time looking for it . Many thanks to Rev. Matthew Jackson for permission to place this cache within the church grounds. BYOP. If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
