Geocache Description:

The given co-ordinates are not for the bonus cache, but suggested parking for the feeder caches to the bonus.

The Bonus cache can be found at N53 41.ABB W001 22.0CD

The numbers for A B C & D can be found in the four other Featherstone Forage caches on a walk of just under three miles.

Our Featherstone Forage can be enjoyed all year round,

In Spring to enjoy the blossom & flowers
In Summer & Autumn to try the fruit ( eat it at your own risk, but we have had plenty 'cos it's nice )
Or do it in Winter just because you love caching & you want to get your boots muddy. This is very likely so come prepared!

It is mainly set around an area of re-claimed mining land, but is now woodland walks & farmland. The local school & community have a conservation project & vole patrol so local wildlife is thriving.

The caches are set by well used paths which can be muddy (Blackberry Way is across some rough grass) There are some apple trees close to the bonus, but you will have to search for them if you want to try the fruit.
