Geocache Description:

We noticed that there were no caches on this peninsula and thought it really needed one. This cache is on Dennings Point, the site of an old brick making factory, Dennings Point Brick Works (D.P.B.W.) There is an easy walking trail around the peninsula, passing by the Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries, along the Hudson River and along the bay on the east side. Mount Beacon stands nearby.

Parking is at the Beacon Transfer Station. This trail is also good for some off road biking.
Please be sure to re-hide the cache well.

Also note that the trail is closed annually through winter for the Bald Eagle habitat. :)
