Geocache Description:

DUE TO THE FREQUENT DNF'S I HAVE UPPED THE DIFFICULTY TO WHAT PEOPLE BELIEVE IS MORE CORRECT. To grab this cache do not pull off the side of the road, please use the parking lot at the beginning of the trail off Gentilly or use the parking lot near the Olive Garden and Cracker Barrel off 301

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., whose mission it is to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors to build healthier places for healthier people. The tracks that used to run in this area were tracks that ran past Howard Lumber where they now stop. Howard Lumber is 1 of about 5 places that are still in business with the train line that runs through Statesboro and ends in Metter. The Statesboro line gets it cars off the Savannah line. In the past 3 years Statesboro has upgraded engines and even added a second engine to help out around town. Along with a new added side track the Statesboro line seems to be coming alive once again. I hope you enjoy finding this cache as much as I enjoyed placing on my favorite walking path. You are looking for an ammo can hidden among the bushes. It might not be as easy as you think. Depending which way you come the terrain difficulty will change.
