Geocache Description:

A cache to celebrate finding our dog Geo.

Some caching moments end up being soooo much more memorable than others. This happened to be the case when we visited my daughter's cache "Gotta Cache Them All" on June 24, 2011. We pulled up to the entrance and immediately noticed a BUNCH of garbage had been dumped at the site! More heartbreaking than that, was the puppy we found laying on the dumped couch. He was small, covered in fleas, and obviously starving. It was getting late, and a storm was rolling in, so I told the GeoHerd that we needed to get going. Well, they started crying and begging me to bring the puppy home with us. Well, of course, being the Materhead that I am, I coaxed the puppy into the back of the Swagger Wagon, and the rest is history. The puppy was given the ooooh so original name "Geo" and has grown (and grown, and GROWN) to be the biggest, silliest, most loving dog we could have asked for. Though we are saddened that we had to move the original cache that Geo was found at, we glad that we can place another cache nearby to mark this moment in our lives.
