We used to live in this area & over looked the lilypond. It is an area not well known, even to the locals.
Port Macquarie Landcare Group took on this area reclaiming it from the over growth & weeds as their 1st project.
It has a wheel chair friendly board walk, with an observation area & seating.
So sit back & rest, while watching the birds, reptiles & other animals that habitat this area. There is a lot of over head cover, that may make this tricky to find.
