This magnetic nano is hidden near the cross in Milton of Campsie where there is a plaque commemorating the landing of the famous Italian balloonist. Park at N55 57.865 W004 09.646 if needed. Bring your own pen.
Vincent Lunardi was a famous balloonist at the end of the 18th century. On 5th December 1785, Vincent set off from St Andrews Churchyard in Glasgow in his hydrogen filled balloon. This flight lasted just over 20 minutes and this plaque commemorates his landing close to here.
Congratulations to Clarinet2 for FTF!!
