HOHES HAUS



Das Hohe Haus am Dorfplatz, ein mächtiges dreigeschoßiges Gebäude, stammt teilweise aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Mit seinem Kuppelwalmdach, dem herrlichen Spitzbogenportal und der spätgotischen Flurhalle ist es wohl das älteste erhaltene Gebäude Zirls. Einstmals war es Gerichtsgebäude, später Adelssitz, heute ist es in Privatbesitz. Eine Besonderheit des Hohen Hauses ist das Bild des Heiligen Antonius, das unversehrt den Dorfbrand 1908 überstand, während links und rechts die Wände niederbrannten.
