Geocache Description:

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., whose mission it is to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors to build healthier places for healthier people. The tracks that used to run in this area were tracks that ran past Howard Lumber where they now stop. Howard Lumber is 1 of about 5 places that are still in business with the train line that runs through Statesboro and ends in Metter. The Statesboro line gets it cars off the Savannah line. In the past 3 years Statesboro has upgraded engines and even added a second engine to help out around town. Along with a new added side track the Statesboro line seems to be coming alive once again. I hope you enjoy finding this cache as much as I enjoyed placing on my favorite walking path. You are looking for a bison tube, just hanging around.
