From this cache, on a clear day, starting from the South West you can see the top of Burbage Valley and Stanage Edge with Loose Hill in the distance due West. Moving further northwards the distinctive stepped North Edge of Kinder Scout can be made out in the distance and moving further north the horizon is Derwent Edge. Just before you look due north you will clearly make out Emley Moor Television Transmitter before the view spreads out over Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, North Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire which offer the following distinctive landmarks.
