Die Adolf-Wächter-Straße, süd-westlicher Endpunkt der Linie 301.
Die heutige Linie 301 folgt noch weitgehend dem Verlauf von Bayreuths erster Buslinie, die im Jahr 1936 eröffnet wurde und von St. Georgen über den Bahnhof und den Marktplatz in die Altstadt führte. Mittlerweile ist dieser Linienast, der früher bereits an der Haltestelle "Jakobshof" endete, zum Schulzentrum Adolf-Wächter-Str. verlängert worden. Zusammen mit der Linie 305, die zeitversetzt fährt und am "Bahnhof Altstadt" hält, sorgt die Linie 301 dafür, dass dieser Bereich im Zehn-Minuten-Takt erreichbar ist.
