This is an easy 2 stage multi cache that starts at the trailhead of the Laura Walker Lake Trail at Laura S. Walker State Park.
This cache is only available during daylight hours. Please do not attempt this cache after dark!
A parking permit is required. This can be purchased at the park office (see additional waypoints). Parking is located within 10 feet of Stage 1. The final will require close to a mile round trip hike (or you may ride a bicycle).
The final is located a N 31 08.58A W 82 13.32B
At the posted coordinates you will find a wooden sign with some information about the Laura Walker Lake Trail. On this sign, you will see a list of 5 types of "Wildlife you may see..." on the trail.
A = the number of letters in the third listed animal
B = A + 1
You are looking for a Lock-n-Lock that has been camouflaged to match its surroundings.
Although the final is not quite all the way to the observation deck, I highly recommend that you make it all the way to the observation deck. It is a beautiful view...one of the best in the Park!
