In part 1, John Saul introduced us to the village of Blackstone, where a dark figure prowled the hidden rooms of the old Asylum and found the talismans of evil with which to enact an unspeakable terror. First came the antique doll, which tore apart the young family of the local contractor, Bill McGuire.

In part 2, the president of the First National Bank of Blackstone, Jules Hartwick, found a beautifully wrapped package in his wife's car. The silver locket inside unleashed a murderous, maniacal rage.

Now, deep inside the Asylum, a gloved hand selects a cigarette lighter in the shape of a dragon. It will ignite a fiery and very deadly reunion...
