This Cache Is Part Of The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash

 The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a virtual trail that takes cachers to 22 sites located throughout Wicomico County. The locations feature Wicomico's "Hidden Treasures" - parks, museums, historical buildings, and waterways. The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a Challenge Trail and works on a passport system.

There are no alternate requirements to finding and logging this cache! However, if you would like to complete the Challenge and be elligible for the limited edition commemorative coin, ...
You must -
  • Record the code word on your passport
  • Sign the logbook
  • Take a picture of yourself with the container
  • Log your find online
  • Attach your picture to your log

2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash Website

Built in 1938 and used until 1976, the Nutters Election House is the only election house still standing in Wicomico County. Specifically built to be an election house, before it's construction balloting was generally done in homes, churches, or neighborhood stores. According to the Wicomico Historical Society, the museum contain's a collection of presidential and inauguration memorabilia and political campaign items. Admission is available through the Wicomico Historical Society by appointment.
