This Cache Is Part Of The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash

 The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a virtual trail that takes cachers to 22 sites located throughout Wicomico County. The locations feature Wicomico's "Hidden Treasures" - parks, museums, historical buildings, and waterways. The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a Challenge Trail and works on a passport system.

There are no alternate requirements to finding and logging this cache! However, if you would like to complete the Challenge and be elligible for the limited edition commemorative coin, ...
You must -
  • Record the code word on your passport
  • Sign the logbook
  • Take a picture of yourself with the container
  • Log your find online
  • Attach your picture to your log

In 1926, 175 acres were purchased from attorney L.A. Bennett for the purpose of propagating game after the United States began recognizing the need to conserve natural resources. Originally called Johnson Schoolhouse Game Refuge, the land was used to raise game animals for release into the wild. Besides being the location of the Natural Resource Police lower shore office, the Johnson WMA is home to yellow throated and red-eyed vireos, black-and-white warblers, woodpeckers, whip-poor-wills, squirrels, quail, woodcock, and white-tailed deer. Bow and arrow deer hunting is allowed in season. Unmarked trails abound for those hikers wishing to participate in bird-watching, nature photography, or who wish to just enjoy a daytime get-away.

You will be looking for a medium size lock-n-lock container.
This cache is only available from dawn to dusk!
During bow deer hunting season, cachers should wear brightly colored clothing.
